After Shah Rukh’s promotitonal idea of a video game for his film Ra.One, rumours were rife that leading producer Ganesh is borrowing that concept and is planning to release a video game showing Pawan Kalyan taking on the goons on small screen and a tool that could grab the attention of youngsters and kids who’ll be enthralled to don the role of Pawan in the different format with user-friendly animation and graphics. “We have no such plans” says producer Ganesh, who admits that they had a couple of meetings to promote the film.“Already Gabbar Singh is rocking the box offce but still we want to give it a push and transform it into an unbeatable all-time top grosser. We did have a meeting and discussed innovative promotional ideas and even explored the option of releasing a merchandise but nothing is fixed yet. However, our next campaign begins from May 27th”.
On secretly holding discussions with a few gaming companies in Hyderabad to release a video game as a merchanside to cash in on Gabbar Singh brand, he said, “We didn’t meet anybody to develop a game but we have a few plans up our sleeves and we’ll let you know shortly” he concludes.
